My Story

Hi, Iโ€™m Melissa ๐Ÿ’œ

Kindly Stubborn was born from a season of my life that taught me something I never expected to learn: being strong doesnโ€™t always mean pushing harder.

For a long time, I measured a good day by how much I could accomplish. I pushed through exhaustion, ignored what my body was telling me, and felt guilty when I couldnโ€™t keep up with everything I thought I should be doing.

Eventually, I realized I needed a different way.

I needed to learn how to plan for the life I actually haveโ€”not the perfectly productive life weโ€™re so often told we should have.

Thatโ€™s where Kindly Stubborn comes from.

Kindly means giving yourself grace. Listening to your body. Resting when you need to. Changing the plan without feeling like you failed.

Stubborn means refusing to give up on yourself. Holding onto hope. Celebrating the small wins. Finding another way forward when life doesnโ€™t go according to plan.

You can be gentle with yourself and still be incredibly strong.

I created the Kindly Stubborn Planner with that philosophy at its heart. It isnโ€™t about filling every hour, checking every box, or having a perfectly productive day.

Itโ€™s about meeting yourself where you are.

Some days youโ€™ll accomplish everything on your list. Other days, getting through the day is the accomplishment.

Both days count.

Kindly Stubborn is for the people learning to give themselves a little more grace while still holding onto the things that matter to them.

Because sometimes strength looks like pushing forward.

And sometimes strength looks like knowing when not to.

Be kind to yourself. Stay stubborn about living. ๐Ÿ’œ
